We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time and to suspend or delete any account that is not genuine or where an account holder infringes our Terms & Conditions.

The material on this website is provided for general information only. We endeavour to ensure that all information on this website is correct and accurate, but we do not accept liability for errors or omissions nor do we warrant that use of this website will be uninterrupted.

Once you have pledged money for a campaign or pre-ordered a book, you will be able to post comments in the community area of the website (Community Content). Unless you specifically advise us to the contrary, we may copy, publish, distribute and otherwise use your posted content for any purpose and you hereby grant us a non-exclusive licence to do so for the legal period of copyright. You waive any and all moral rights in relation to the Community Content.

In submitting Community Content, either in the campaign’s community area or in any other circumstance in which we allow you to post Community Content, you agree to the following: You warrant that the Community Content you submit or post, whether textual or visual, does not infringe any copyright, trademark, design right, right of privacy or any other intellectual property or personal right, or is not pirated, obscene or offensive, harassing, defamatory, blasphemous, hate speech, discriminatory or a misuse of private or confidential information, does not contain personal information about another person and is not otherwise unlawful. You warrant that the Community Content you submit or post is your own original work and that you own copyright and all other relevant rights in it.

Certain products may be available exclusively online through this website. These products may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Refund Policy

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearance of our products, but cannot guarantee that colours or quality will be displayed accurately on a computer monitor.

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction.  We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

The contract of sale for goods offered on this website is between you and Thames & Hudson Limited. All sales orders will be processed and fulfilled by our distributor in the UK, EP Global Group, Cavendish House, Cavendish Road, Stevenage, Herts SG1 2EQ. 

We must receive payment for the goods for your order to be accepted and dispatched. The dispatch note sent out by EP Global with orders refers to their own terms and conditions of sale, but these do not apply to the contract of sale between you and Thames & Hudson. 

We are entitled to cancel any contract of sale in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by email.

The sale of all goods is subject to availability. In the event that after check-out, but before the goods have been dispatched, the goods you have ordered are no longer available, we will advise you by email and give you the option to cancel your order or such part relating to the unavailable goods.

If it is not possible to fulfil all or part of your order, we will reimburse the corresponding sum debited from your payment card. The refund will be made as soon as possible. Where these goods form part of a larger order, we will process and dispatch the available goods to you in the normal manner in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and the refund will be in respect of only the goods we are unable to deliver. 

Where you elect to accept later delivery of the balance of your order, we will not levy separate delivery charges when we effect delivery. 

We do not accept liability for our failure to deliver goods to you due to any cause or event beyond our reasonable control. 

Payments 

We use Shopify to process your payments. Shopify have their own terms and conditions. By making a pledge or making a payment you are agreeing to be bound by Shopify ’s terms and conditions. We would like to stress that all credit card details are held by Shopify and not by Read-Only Memory or Thames & Hudson Ltd. 

When making a purchase you will receive an automatic confirmation of your payment. 

General Terms

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right. 

In the event that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be removed from these Terms & Conditions. This does not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions. 

Although this website may be accessed from anywhere in the world, your use of it and our Terms & Conditions including our Privacy PolicyShipping Policy and Refund Policy are all in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Unless we consider otherwise, our courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
